It was very nice, comfortable and clean. Kind hosts, nice pool and very close by the MRT Blue Line and the 7-eleven.

Hotel far from the center but like at home.

The neighborhood is very quiet. The hotel is quiet, comfortable and clean.

What I liked most about the hotel is the bed, the shower, the breakfast and the pool.

Very nice space

The location is very nice and comfortable. Surrounding by convenient store and eating area. Just 5 minutes walk to MRT. Staff is also friendly and helpful.

Need more clean. We had found a small cockroach in the bathroom. The common space needs a management.

great value for money and had a marvelous stay :)

great room and amazing bed, fridge and water boiler in the room. Its very clean and spacious as well!! lovely rain shower :)

the only thing we didn’t enjoy was the lack of free drinking water, due to that we also produced such a high amount of plastic trash because of all the plastic bottles. So its not really sustainable.

Nice clean hotel with kind caring staff

Modern bedroom with comfortable bed and beautiful soft white linen/sheets that did not itch. Staff very kind and helpful, booked taxi for me and gave me exact instructions how to use metro to get to various markets and attractions. Hotel kept very clean so no bugs or cockroaches

Good base, close to train.

Friendly staff and great location. Enjoyed the pool and the proximity to the MRT station. Family Mart is right in front and the 7/11 and Tesco are very close by. Lovely view from the 6th floor. Great big comfortable room and lovely bathroom.

There is not a lot of stuff to do in walking distance. The bed was rock hard although that might suit some people.

Very clean and comfortable room with affordable price.

Very clean and comfortable room with affordable price. You can inform the reception (owner?) one day earlier if you need a taxi to the airport, they will book taxi for you. Family Mart is just across the road, and a 7-11 nearby too.

Need shower curtain in the shower to avoid wet floor. Walking from the hotel to the Ratchadapisek MRT Station can be a bit uncomfortable due to no proper walkway (we have elders in our group).

We liked our stay and will come back at our next holiday in Thailand.

Hotel in easy walking distance to MRT, very clean and nice rooms, very friendly staff.

Would be even better with a breakfast option available, but there are some shopy nearby.

Almost the ideal hotel in BKK

Everything was perfect, nothing to write about. The hotel is super clean, super comfortable, the staff are super friendly. Are there any bad 3* hotels in Bangkok at all?

The only two points that negatively affected the overall score in my review are the wi-fi connection (facilities) and the location. The wifi connection is very bad on the floors (one has to go down to the ground floor to catch the signal). Despite the proximity to the MRT station, the way to the hotel is along a road with no sidewalks. The traffic on this quiet road is not intensive, but it is not enjoyable anyway.

Enjoyable stay

Hotel environment and room are clean. About 10 min walk to Ratchadapisek MRT. Opposite hotel has a family mart and a noodle duck soup restaurant which is nice to taste. Hotel staffs are friendly. Swimming pool well maintained.

Occasionally the wifi connection a bit weak at 4th floor. Near to MRT but quite far from city center. MRT + BTS trains to MBK will cost you around 60baht. Worth to travel by Taxi if you travel more than one person and the driver willing to turn on the meter. Baan Tanwa hotel is not well known to taxi driver in general. So advice is to print out the map, ask for Thai address name card from owner and better still turn on your GPS map.

The staff is nice.

The staff is nice. The room is fine, seems clean but we found at least 4 cockroaches.

The location is not good. Traffic in Bangkok is very complicated and the hotel is far from the center (30/40 minutes by car). The metro station is close, but you have to walk 4 blocks without sidewalk to get there (terrible for luggage).

Good choice

Nice appartment with fridge and microwave. I like that the A/C is not directed to the bed (as in many other accommodations). Staff is friendly and there is a small pool and some fitness equipment.

The walk from/to MRT is not so pedestrian friendly; and the electricity plugs and switches in the room have been distributed in a very strange (unpractical) way.

Comfy, but too far from city

The room and bed are super comfy, there is a big fridge and a nice balcony.

No English channels on the tv. During the first 2 nights out of 4, the wifi didn’t work much. It’s 8 mins walking from Ratchadapisek MRT Station (30 mins from city), but there are no pavement and it’s always dangerous to walk inside the road and among the cars.

Loved the pool.

Stayed twice. The first room was excellent, clean and spacious with a great view. The second was a bit worn and a tighter squeeze. Good size fridge and a couch in the first room. Lovely pool and the Family mart across the road.

The bed was super hard. There was no tea or coffee in the room even though there was a fridge and jug. Also there was no plates or cutlery provided which is odd because there was a kitchen sink and bench space.
